Kris Aasheim, NBC-HWC, CPT, CGFI

Hi! Welcome to my site. I am a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Group Fitness Instructor.

I received my coaching education from CT-EDU and my personal trainer education from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I received my Plant Based Nutrition Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies via eCornell.

Several years ago, I made a career transition into health and wellness coaching driven by my passion for helping people grow and increase their self-awareness to help them reconnect with their personal values and to define what is most important in their lives, from physical wellness to mental fitness.

My coaching philosophy truly comes from my passion for helping people to break through their limiting beliefs to find the clarity and direction in their life that leads them to the results they’ve been looking for. We will partner together to design outcome goals by building on those reachable “small wins” that help foster motivation and momentum to create sustainable, lasting change. As your accountability partner, I will help you become more mindful and increase your self-awareness.

My coaching style incorporates whole-person wellness, which incorporates multiple dimensions of health including emotional well-being, financial stability, healthy social connections, occupational wellness and work-life balance, improved nutrition, regular physical activity and avoidance of risky behaviors.

I help clients by inspiring insight into the gap between where they are currently, and where they want to be. Defining the gap instills insight, growth, and change. I will meet you where you are in a collaborative approach to help you achieve your full potential. I’ve helped my clients lose weight, find work-life balance, improve their relationships, find clarity when making hard choices, improve their health and reverse chronic disease, and find their independence, among many other things.
